H ow can two people walk together if they do not agree with each other? And how can they agree if they do not talk? And how can they talk if they do not understand each other language and know what each other is saying?
Amos 3:3 (KJV) Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Men understand God’s language, but men do not agree with God logics, because we do not walk far enough with God, nor talk long enough with him to see the logics behind what he is trying to communicate. You will see Christians praying for one hour or more, talking to God telling God what to do. However, the secret is to sit down in quiet, stop praying and listen to what God is saying to you in your spirit. Man say “Kill him” “God say give him mercy” Why? Some of the most faithful employee in a company is one that was forgiven, or one who went away and came back. When we forgave people, they became our servants for life. They might not want to mess up again.
HOW DOES GOD COMMUNICATE TO HUMANITY?
To understand when God is talking to you today you will need to have some knowledge of how God talk to people in time of old. The people of Israel want God to speak to them, but when God start talking to them they request that God do not speak to them directly, but speak to them through Moses.
Exodus 20:19 (KJV) And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
We are too sinful and evil for God to speak to us like man to man, his voice would have consumed us. So God have to find other ways of talking to sinful men. Before we go into the study. I would like to say: If you pick up your cell phone and told somebody that this phone is connected to a satellite some place in space. If the person is from some dark continent who have no knowledge of electronic devices.
The person might say\" I do not see any thing connected to this phone\" Gone is the days of \"Seen before I can believe\" You cannot see the current that are in the line, but touch it, and you will feel pain. I want to show my reader how God communicate to people in time gone by, so what I am doing now is laying the ground work.
Hebrews 1:1 (NASB-U) God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, Hebrews 1:2 (NASB-U) in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.
A certain priest escapes from King Saul and came to David for refuge. The priest had something in his hand when he came to see David, what he has in his hands was call
AN “EPHOD”
What was this ephod, and what was it use for? The ephod was a vestment worn by the high priest. Later on during their history it was worn by other priest as well. In time of crisis the Israelites would literally ask question of this. The ephod was use for divinations. The breastplate, with the Urim and Thummim, was attached to the ephod. God would spoke to them through this.
1 Samuel 23:6 (KJV) And it came to pass, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, that he came down with an ephod in his hand. 1 Samuel 30:7 (KJV) And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David. 1 Samuel 30:8 (KJV) And David enquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
GOD SPOKEN TO HUMANITY BY URIM AND THUMMIM.
The URIM AND THUMMIM was use for divinations.
Exodus 28:30 (NASB-U) "You shall put in the breastpiece of judgment the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be over Aaron's heart when he goes in before the Lord; and Aaron shall carry the judgment of the sons of Israel over his heart before the Lord continually.
The Urim and Tumming was a little box like a match box, that have a leather strop attach to it and was wear around the high priest forehead. In this box was strips of parchment, with scriptures verses and other phrase like\" Go up\" Do not go up\"\" Guilty\"\" Not guilty\" True\"\" False\" etc. If a king wants to know if he must go to war, he would inquire at the high priests, which would pray and take out one of the script and read it like a promise box. If God had spoken, every time the same answer would have come out of the box, no matter how it was shuffled.
Nehemiah 7:65-AV And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood [up] a priest with Urim and Thummim.
GOD SPOKE TO HUMANITY BY THE PROPHETS.
2Peter 1:21-AV For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost.
Jeremiah 7:25 (KJV) Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:
We are talking about how God speak to people of ancient times. The prophet were special bread of men, who God has chosen, and fill some of them with the Holy Spirit from their mother’s womb.
Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Luke 1:15 (KJV) For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
These men were holy and could talk to God mouth to mouth, but still some of them fall into a trance like state then he spoke to them. Other people who were not so holy still get what God have to say to them through these prophets. It was either they believe it of reject it.
Exodus 9:13 (KJV) And the Lord said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
GOD SPOKE TO MEN BY ANGELS DURING A DREAM.
Angels spoken to men by way of dreams, only few men were holy enough to speak with an angel face to face. Genesis 31:11 (KJV) And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I.
Matthew 1:20 (KJV) But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 2:13 (KJV) And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
Genesis 28:12 (NASB-U) He had a dream, and behold, a ladder was set on the earth with its top reaching to heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
GOD SPOKEN TO MAN BY LOTS.
Jonah 1:7 (NASB-U) Each man said to his mate, "Come, let us cast lots so we may learn on whose account this calamity has struck us." So they cast lots and the lot fell on Jonah.
The lot was something like dice, which give the same answer every time if God was speaking through it. Because it was impossible for those men to throw the same number of figure every time, because it was not something that they play and practice with. Even if they practice every day with it was a rare chance to get the same answer many times in arrow
GOD SPAKE TO REBELOUS MAN AT ONE TIME BY AN ASS.
2Peter 2:16-AV But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 2Peter 2:15-AV Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam [the son] of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
Psalms 32:9-AV Be ye not as the horse, [or] as the mule, [which] have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
GOD SPOKEN TO MAN BY A WRITTEN LAW
Luke 16:16-AV The law and the prophets [were] until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
God spoke to the people by the Law of Moses and by the prophets, but all these was in force until the coming of John Baptist.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
BY HIS SON JESUS. BY THE APOSTLES.
In the days of our lord, God spoken to the people by his son Jesus. After the death of Christ, God spoken to us by the apostles.
IN OUR TIME GOD SPAKE TO US BY THE HOLY SPIRIT THROUGH THE WRITTEN WORDS:
2 Timothy 3:16-AV All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Today God spoken to us by the written word, through the Holy Spirit. He uses the Church. The problem is, people are having problem knowing how the Holy Spirit communicate to us.
HOW DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT COMMUNICATE TO US TODAY:
John 14:26 (NASB-U) "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
John 16:13 (NASB-U) "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
HE COMMUNICATE TO US BY USING THE BRIDE
Revelation 22:17-AV And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
The Holy Spirit uses the written word, but if the person is having problem understanding the scriptures due to lack of knowledge. The holy Spirit Will create a doubt in us when we are going wrong, and create a free spirit in us when we are correct. The only problem is, this same doubt is trigger off by prejudice, envy, and covetousness. So if we do not purge yourself from these dead works, we will not know the leading of the holy spirit.
THE WITNESS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
If you are going to hear from the holy spirit you will have to remove the spiritual waxes out of your spiritual ears. If you and I want the Holy Spirit to show us thing we will have to remove the scales and the motes out of our eyes. Before we talk about what you have to remove out of your life let deal with the doubt system.
CREATING A DOUBT IN YOUR SPIRIT WHEN YOU ARE GOING WRONG.
Christians talk about doubts, but doubt is not all bad. When you are about to make a bad decisions the Holy Spirit will triggers off a doubt in you. The reason why we seek council about a suppose problem is because deep down in our spirit there is an elements of doubt. If you are planning to marry somebody and your heart are full of doubt, that doubt is telling you to wait. And when you wait you will be glad you did. This is call the witness of the spirit.
Romans 8:16 (ASV) The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God: Galatians 4:6 (KJV) And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
1 John 3:24 (KJV) And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
Romans 8:26 (KJV) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Acts 5:32 (KJV) And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
2 Cor. 1:22 (KJV) Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
Ephes. 1:13 (KJV) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
GOD SPOKE TO SINNERS BY THE BELIVERS CHANGE LIFE.
Sinners can call a Christians grease can and call pastors pastures and call deacons dick-ants. But they cannot get pass your change life, they know what you were before you were converted and know what you are now, in spite of your quick temper, they can still see changes that was not there before you were saying Jesus. That is why they so angry and spent all that time trying to prove you wrong. Because God is talking to them through your life. That is why they want you off the job, and of the Message board.
1 John 5:7-9 (KJV) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. [8] And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. [9] If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
THE WITNESS OF THE WRITTEN WORD.
God is speaking to them by and through the written and spoken word. That is why they spent so much time trying to find fault with it. If you and I reject the written word, God is not obligated to even speak to you any more.
Psalm 119:105 (NASB-U) Nun. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
HEARING THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS A LEARNING EXPERIENCE.
1 Kings 19:12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
You have to be in a peaceful mind-set to hear the Holy Spirit, certain job, certain spouse, certain profession is not good for Christians especially those in leadership. Sometime you will need to be by yourself to hear from the Holy Spirit. I get most of my sermons while driving or doing fishing. Sometime at mid-night or early in the morning.
The Holy Spirit himself will have to teach you and I how to hear from him. And this is how he does it. When you first got saved, the Holy Spirit begins to give you instructions right away. The first instructions are always to return home and show your people what great things the Lord had done for you. Before the Holy Spirit talks to you, you must first accept the witness of the word. The witness of other mature believers, and the witness of other believers on a whole, he might even uses somebody less that you to speak to you.
Mark 5:18-22 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. [19] Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. [20] And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel. [21] And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea. [22] And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,)( You hath to go home and advertise the Lord, and make peace with your people.
THE HOLY SPIRIT COMMUNICATES TO US BY USING CIRCUMSTANCE.
Do not ignore circumstances, do not ignore circumstances. Sometime when people do not want you around it is the Holy Spirit telling you to get out from among them. Pay attention to this. That person do not want you in their family it is the Holy Spirit telling you not to come in, but since you are not listening to the doubt system, he turn certain people in the family spirit against you, so you can know his will. The Holy Spirit told a girl in Haiti not to marry nor fall in love, when she came to the USA she fall in love and get marry, the same night her husband brought her home he gave her HIV. She was one of my patients.
1 Kings 12:21-AV And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon. 1 Kings 12:22-AV But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying, 1 Kings 12:23-AV Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying,
for this thing is from me.
1 Kings 12:24-AV Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD.
Know how to work the Holy Spirit. You must accept the witness of the word, in casting down strong hole of your life, before the Holy Spirit will really start communicating to you.
THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL TALK TO YOU WHERE THE WRITTEN WORD IS NOT CLEAR On the subject.
If the scripture has something to say on the subject, the Holy Spirit want you to consult the written word first or will direct you to the verses, or will bring it back to your remembrance.
The jerk up and scream out that you see going on in some churches, this happen when the Holy Spirit reminded the person of sins in their lives that need to be dealt with. And hey are putting up resistance thinking that it is Satan taunting them.
John 14:26 (NASB-U) "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
THE HOLY SPIRIT USES A SERIES OF CIRCUMSTANCES TO GUIDE US INTO GOD’S WILL.
3 John 1:2 (KJV) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Ephes. 5:17-21 (KJV) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. [18] And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; [19] Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; [20] Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; [21] Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Psalm 1:3 (KJV) And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
HOLY SPIRIT LEAD YOU.
Luke 4:1 (KJV) And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Romans 8:14 (KJV) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
To Lead a person is to take them some where. The holy spirit lead us by going before us, but if we keep wondering and refuses to fallow, then he try to guide us.
HOLY SPIRIT GUIDE YOU.
John 16:13 (KJV) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Guide us a more severe action, because the holy spirit created a series of circumstances, by which he closes doors, and eventually you have to go in the ones that is opening to you.
Something or someone that shows the way. To advise about a decision or course of action: enlighten To point out the way or direction: • conduct A person who advises another, especially officially or professionally:
HOLY SPIRIT MOVE YOU.
2 Peter 1:21 (KJV) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
The act of moving something from one place to another: A sudden movement or change in direction: Usually one in a series of activities to accomplish an objective:
From reading the two passages of scriptures above we can conclude that it is the will of God for his children to prosper, to be healthy in proportions to the prosperity of your soul. Any situations that you and I are into, where we are unhappy and our life is unfulfilled, over work, under pay, being beaten upon. Our earthly fathers know how to give good gift.
Matthew 7:11 (KJV) If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Three kinds of blessing that are God's will:
1. Material prosperity (3 John 2; Joshua 1:5-9; 1 Samuel 2:7-8; 1 Kings 2:3-4; 1 Chron. 29:12; Ezra 8:22; Job 36:11; Psalm 1:1-3; Matthew 7:7-11; Matthew 17:20; Matthew 21:22; Mark 9:23; Mark 11:22-24; John 15:7,16; 2 Cor. 9:6-8; Phil. 4:19)
2. Physical healing and health (3 John 2; Exodus 15:26; Psalm 91; Psalm 103:3; Isaiah 53:4-5; Isaiah 58:8; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24; §James 5:14, note)
3. Soul salvation (3 John 2; Matthew 1:21; Romans 1:16; Romans 10:9-10; Ephes. 1:7; Ephes. 2:8-9; Hebrews 7:25; 1 John 1:7,9; Rev. 1:5)
If any one of these blessings were not the will of God, would it be the wish of this most beloved apostle? If such blessings are the will of God for one man, they are for all men alike who will have faith for them, because there is no partiality in the gospel.
WHAT STOP PEOPLE FROM HEARING FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT
There are some ten sins that Christians commit against each other’s and all these sins the Holy Spirit takes it personally. For some unknown reason the people of the book are very complex people. Christians has their own little grudges, and fight among themselves over spirituals gifts. The Holy Spirit give the gifts as he will, but the pastor or the elite group in the church might not like who get what gift. Every body is trying to grab some attention for themselves. And this is where the sins come in.
1 Cor. 12:11 (NASB-U) But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.
God sent Paul who was very educated to the Gentiles who had no education, and sent Peter who was not as educated as Paul to the Jews who were very educated. Some time the Holy Spirit give certain gifts to uneducated people in the Church, which the elite members cannot accept because it is an insult to them.
ALL THESE SINS IS WHAT WE DO TO EACH OTHER IN THE CHURCH.
1 Thes. 4:8-9 (KJV) He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. [9] But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

EVEN BEFORE WE EXPECT GOD TO SPEAK TO US, WE MUST FIRST KNOW WHY SOME PEOPLE DO NOT HEAR FROM GOD.
1 Peter 5:5 (KJV) -- be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
God do not deal with the proud, God do not help evildoers, God do not help doubleminded people, and God do not work with people that has king Saul's mentality. Job 8:20 (KJV) Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evildoers:
James 1:7-8 (KJV) For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. [8] A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Matthew 18:35 (NASB-U) "My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart."
PREPARING YOURSELF FOR A BATTLE.
1 John 3:13 (NASB-U) Do not be surprised, brethren, if the world hates you.
John 15:18 (NASB-U) "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.
John 7:7 (NASB-U) "The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil.
Most OF THE BEATING you will get is going to come from the job market. Just being a Christians is like rubbing salt in the wound of people all around us. Your presence reminded them of God, holiness and hell. Even though you are not preaching at them, they are bent on your hurt. Do not learn trade that you as an employee is consider dime per dozen. Job like nurse assistant jobs, put you in position for abuses overload. Especially if you are a Christians and a black man. You are one step from going to jail and loosing that license.
THE HOLY SPIRIT SPEAK TO OUR HUMAN SPIRIT.
The Holy Spirit speak to you human spirit. You can send for our book “fire on the mountain” Five Different Groups of Spirits. Before, we begin the study, it's important that you know that there Are five groups of spirits mentioned in the Bible. For you to study the Holy Spirit you must know the other four groups and how they operate, these mustn't be confused with the Holy Spirit. (1) HUMAN SPIRITS.
(2) DEMONIC SPIRITS.
(3) ANGELIC SPIRITS.
(4) THE HOLY SPIRIT.
(5) SPIRIT OF BEASTS.
(1)THE HUMAN SPIRIT.
Proverbs 20:27 The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly. Job 32:8 But [there is] a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. We can't fully comprehend man until we learn that man has a Body, as well as a soul, and a spirit. 1 Thess 5.23 1 Thess 5:23 1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the Spirit of man which is in him? even so, the things of God Knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
THE LORD’S VOICE IS STILL AND SMALL.
To hear this voice you have to be listening and are at peace with yourself. You have to avoid getting into relationship that will upset your spirit, and keep you from hearing. 1 Kings 19:11-12 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: [12] And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. ) ( We will talk a little about relationship and marriage, but remember that what we really talking about is how to know when the holy spirit is talking to us. I only point out a few things that can keep you from knowing. In-fact you should never get into a relationship until you are able to hear from the lord. Do not go to war until you know who the enemies are.
DOING EVERY THING THAT YOU SUPPOSE TO DO.
For example, you meet this person who says that they are in love with you, how do I know if it is God’s will for me to be with this person? Were you praying about getting a mate? Do you have a need for a mate? Is the need that you have matched the need that, that person had. Bear in mind that each person has a need, and that is why they are looking for somebody.
If you are a Christians! God still uses New Testament prophets in the church today, but many of them speak out of their own hearts, therefore you have to do like what Mary do in St Luke 2:19. She kept all those things and ponders them in her hearts. If what they say is of God, it will come to pass, are flunk.

Acts 9:10-AV And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I [am here], Lord. Acts 9:11-AV And the Lord [said] unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for [one] called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, Acts 9:12-AV And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting [his] hand on him, that he might receive his sight. Acts 9:17-AV And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, [even] Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
The same time the Lord speaks to Paul, he also speaks to Ananias. concerning Paul. If Christ send somebody to deliver a message to you, he also show you the person coming. If the lord point out a person to you, to be your spouse, he also points you out to the person. If only one person
Ten Facts about the Urim and Thummim:
1.No command was given by God for Moses to make them; he was only told to put them in the pocket or pouch of judgment (Exodus 28:16,30). 2.Moses put them in the pouch of judgment when Aaron was first clothed, so they were already made (Leviticus 8:8).
3.They may have been precious stones which were drawn from the bag or pocket of judgment to give God's judgment or message. Some claim that one had "yes" and the other "no" so the high priest would get a direct answer.
4.Who made them (God or Moses) or whether they were used before this time is not stated.
5.Urim is used of the high priest giving counsel from God to Joshua (Numbers 27:18- 23). 6.Levi was advised to have the Urim and Thummim always with the high priest for use in a crisis (Deut. 33:8).
7.The Urim and Thummim were mentioned after the captivity to Babylon (Ezra 2:63; Neh. 7:65).
8.They were something material, separate from the breastplate pouch and the stones in the breastplate (Exodus 28:30).
9.Obtaining an answer through Urim and Thummim is spoken of as "casting lots" (Leviticus 16:8; Joshua 18:6-10; 1 Samuel 14:42; 1 Chron. 24:31; 1 Chron. 25:8; 1 Chron. 26:13-14). Such phrases as "came up" (Joshua 18:11; Joshua 19:10), "came forth" (Joshua 18:11; Joshua 19:1), and "came out" (Joshua 19:24,32,40; Joshua 21:4) are used in connection with casting lots, meaning the lot or answer came out of the pouch of decision, or pocket of the breastplate of judgment. In Proverbs 16:33 it says
10"The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of he Lord." This means the matter was settled by the Urim and Thummim. The same thing is referred to in Proverbs 18:18, "The lot causeth contentions to cease, and parteth between the mighty." There was complete satisfaction regarding decisions of the Urim and Thummim. The Hebrew for lot in all these passages is gowral (, a stone, a pebble, or lot because of the small stones being used for casting lots. It is used 77 times.
10Regardless of how the decision was made it was always considered the will of God. Not only was a simple yes or no given, but sometimes whole messages were spoken by the priests who were used by God in the same way as the prophets of old. The high priest simply took the place of Moses and continued as the mediator between God and man, receiving messages from Him before the ark of the covenant.
10.They were the means of obtaining an answer from God regarding any problem which concerned Israel: (1)Joshua was guided by them in leading Israel into Canaan (Numbers 27:18-24). (2)He used them in the case of Achan (Joshua 7:14-18), but not in the case of Gibeon (Joshua 9).
(3)They were used in dividing the land to the tribes (Numbers 34:17; Joshua 17:4). After being divided by a special commission, simple directions were given by God regarding who should inherit certain portions (Joshua 18:4-10). Each section was ever afterward referred to by lot (Numbers 26:55-56; Numbers 33:54; Numbers 34:13; Numbers 36:2-3; Numbers Joshua 13:6; Numbers 14:2; Numbers 15:1; Numbers 16:1; Numbers 17:1-2,14-17; Numbers 18:11,18; Numbers 19:1,10,17,24,32,40,51; Numbers 21:4-10,20,40; Judges 1:3; Judges 20:9)
(4)They were used to choose certain cities for the Levites (1 Chron. 6:54,61-65)
(5)The order of the priesthood was settled by them (1 Chron. 24:5-7; 1 Chron. 26:9) (6)Israel used them to inquire of the Lord after Joshua (Judges 1:1-2; Judges 20:18,26-28)
(7)Saul was chosen through them (1 Samuel 10:20-22) (8)Saul inquired of God through them in war, and received an answer (1 Samuel 14:36-46)

Priests were so corrupt in the days of Samuel (1 Samuel 2:12-17) that God began to raise up prophets to take their place in speaking to men. From Samuel's time on, prophets were used more than priests (1 Samuel 9:9; 1 Kings 22:5-8; 2 Kings 3:11; 2 Kings 8:8; etc.).
10 c[bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually] The means of judicial decisions were the Urim and Thummim which were to be present always on Aaron's heart in the pouch of the breastplate.
