Many Christians has cast off their faith, because they could not overcome certain sins. There are some ten main reasons, but in this article, we will talk about two. Many Christians had this false notion that we loose out sin nature the moment we are converted, and not suppose to have sinful impulse any more. In fact, some of us have solid reasons to believe this way. From the time I was save, to the time when I begin to have real problem with sins is about five years.
The cleansing of the blood is so strong I was clean and also feel clean. It was numerous beating and pounding from other Christian that Got me discourage. When the Lord saved us, he clean us, and we also receive daily cleaning from the written word. However, we did not lose our old sin nature.
However, this does not mean we are rejected of God or we loose our way. I am not selling cheap grace, neither teaching the once save always save doctrines. The apostle Paul reaches a place in his life were he say" I can do all thing through Christ, however, the apostle did not over came every thing in his life.
THE APOSTLE PAUL DID NOT OVER CAME EVERYTHING.
SINS THAT SEEM TO CONFLICT WITH OUR INBORN INSTINCT DOES NOT GET RID OFF OVER NIGHT:
The first is the instinct of self- preservation, which warns us of danger and enables us to care for ourselves.
The second, the acquisitive (getting) instinct, this leads us to acquire the necessities for self-support.
WEALTH AND POVERTY SIN:
Proverbs 30:7-AV Two [things] have I required of thee; deny me [them] not before I die: Proverbs 30:8-AV Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Proverbs 30:9-AV Lest I be full, and deny [thee], and say, Who [is] the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God [in vain].
If we are hungry we will condensed to thievery.
Matthew 12:1-AV At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. Matthew 12:2-AV But when the Pharisees saw [it], they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. Matthew 12:3-AV But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; Matthew 12:4-AV How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
THE SEX SIN:
1Corinthians 7:7-AV For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. 1Corinthians 7:8-AV I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. 1Corinthians 7:9-AV But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
If we burn too much we will condensed to fornication or adultery. The sins that are related to these instincts are understandable sins, to a certain extend. If these impulse are remove from your body, you are no more a human being, neither could you function in this world any more. It is natural for a man to look at woman nude body and have an erection. However, it is not natural for him to rape her. It is natural for a man to approaches a woman for sex and a woman to approaches a man for sex, but it is not natural to approach same sex, and animals.
Fifth, the instinct of dominance, which leads to the exercise of that self-assertion necessitated by one's calling and responsibilities.

God did not intend for human instincts to be in conflicts with his word. The conflict comes in because of lack of knowledge and self-righteousness on our part. The self-preservation instinct tells us to flee from danger. Any laws are holy books that tell us to put our self in danger, need to be questions. Since the original purpose of God is for us to flee from danger.
(1) CANNOT OVER CAME CERTAIN SINS:
Some sins we overcame them by the written words. Some we overcame them with prayer and fasting. Some with time, as we continue to serve the lord, we do not even know when we stop doing certain sins.
We just grow out of some things, like a child grow out of his or her clothing. Smart Christians do not backslide because they find themselves keep doing the same sins over and over again. The lord when he saves us gives us time.
HERE BELIEVERS BEFORE THE JUDGMENT SEAT BEING JUDGE, THIS IS IN HEAVEN:
Revelation 4:10-AV The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Revelation 4:11-AV Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 5:11-AV And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Revelation 5:12-AV Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Judges 1:19-AV And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out [the inhabitants of] the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron. We overcame certain sins, base on account of what Christ done for us on the cross. But in a practical sense we will not over came every last one. You and I can say we are clean from our sins, base on what Christ had done. But in practicality, we do not. Our ticket to salvation is base on what Christ had done. This does not mean that we must feed on the dead flesh of sins and do not try to improve our lives.
Hebrews 12:1-AV Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Hebrews 12:2-AV Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
1John 1:8-AV If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1John 1:9-AV If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:10-AV If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
(2) THE OLD NATURE:
Hebrews 12:15-AV Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled;)
If the believer refuses to purge the old nature, it will spring again and destroy you.
Romans 7:20-AV Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. Romans 7:21-AV I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. Romans 7:22-AV For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: Romans 7:23-AV But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Psalms 65:3-AV Iniquities prevail against me: [as for] our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.
1Corinthians 5:7-AV Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 2Timothy 2:21-AV If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, [and] prepared unto every good work.
James 5:9-AV Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. Luke 12:15-AV And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
